Trademarks

We assist clients in the initial selection of trademarks, service marks, and trade names; analyze the results of mark and name searches; file and prosecute local and foreign applications for trademark and service mark registration; monitor and police adverse use or registration; and handle opposition and cancellation proceedings as well as administrative and judicial appeals of adverse decisions. We also represent clients in transferring ownership in trademarks, counseling clients regarding strategies in acquiring trademark rights, and negotiating license agreements.
